granddaughter, Maura (8) and her castle

Building in August & September on the Massachusetts Street beach, in Lewes, Delaware
Wind from the East, and a few flies in the late afternoon.
So nice to see Carol Denlinger this morning 💗
Ari and his dad, Reed, walked up from the Market Street beach, and were happy to find me! 💗 Katie brought Charlie and Harper, from Wilmington 💗 Marlene brought her daughter, Holly, from Delaware County, PA 💗 Robin, from Shippensburg, Theresa from Hagerstown, MD, and Pam, from Milton were walking, and stayed awhile to visit with me 💗Molly brought Harvey and his little sister up, from the Market Street beach, and were pleased they found me!💗 Sad to say goodbye to Mary Garbiesi , who was leaving on the 6:15 ferry. Here is my castle today.

As I typed the title of this post, I realized it could mean something I did over the winter, or that I am “over the winter.” I am “over the winter”, looking forward to warm weather, and sandcastle building! Here is something that I did over the winter on a salvaged trunk that now serves as a coffee table in my home in Pennsylvania.
