Destruction, but a resurrection, with help!
Very disappointed when I got to the beach this morning a little before 11:00. Every bit of my Sandcastle from yesterday including the mound that I build on every day was stomped to the ground.
The good news is a wonderful family came to my rescue, and all of them pitched in to try to get the sand back up for me to build upon! God bless Libby (the mom,) Grace, Mark, Evelyn, Lucas and Mary for all their help! At my age, it’s just too hard to to start from scratch.
With a late start I wasn’t off the beach until 4:30 today, but here is my castle #7, thanks to good beach friends!
Through little showers, teaching kids, and talking to people, I did manage to complete castle #6.
Despite the rain showers and clouds, I had a lot of kids to teach today!

Not as many sea nettles; a few moon jellies, and there weren’t any biting flies!
It was so nice to meet Elaine, who stopped by with her granddaughter Catherine. Diane, a friend I met here several years ago, came by to say she will be at the Ocean House for several weeks. And my favorite visitor today was Nana, with her granddaughter Talia. They came back two or three times to check my progress on the sand castle!

The storm last night flattened the beach, and blew my Sandcastle lady sign into the water! I thought for sure it was gone forever, until a lady carried it up for me. When the tide went out, she saw it!
