Early yesterday morning, I had an attack of vertigo (first ever.) It was severe, with nausea and vomiting. I went back to bed, because lying still with my eyes closed gave me relief. When it persisted through noontime, Jack and my daughter Beth took me to Beebe Hospital’s Walk in Care, on Rt.24.
I was seen and evaluated for neurological signs of a stroke, and given Meclizine.
I am still having balance issues with certain movements. I will be home (not building until I regain my balance.)
Wednesday, August 14 was a great day on the beach!
Jonah (11) somehow was out of the water long enough to build a castle. James (8) built a great castle that collapsed when someone attempted to put a cone on top of his building. James persevered, and built a modern design castle with lots of steps. And I built Castle #4 today, and am thankful to be building and teaching great kids!

Tuesday, August 13,
A beautiful day on the beach!
3rd day, and 3rd castle today. Beautiful day on the beach❤️Kaede (10) and her mom Mutsuka are visiting from Tokyo, and staying with Lecia. Despite the language barrier, Kaede built a wonderful castle today. Grandson Jonah (11) was working on a castle. Agnes (5) with her Nanny, Seble, built a whole village!Tamara brought her sister Olga today; Vladimir stopped to say hello, and Pamela and Karen came looking for me after hearing about the castles.

Monday, August 12
2nd day on the beach, and the second castle, and Avery 9 and Lainey’s castle

Lots of people stopped by today, and it was good to see them! Tamara stayed and visited; and Lecia told me I had taught her children Jack and Anna, who are grown now. Cindy brought her daughter, Lexi, whom I taught when she was younger. My walking friend, Vladimir, also came by.

Sunday, August 11, first day on the beach
August 10 through September 14 can’t come soon enough!
A quick trip in June, with grandkids
My last day, and last castle
HIGH tide, and wind from the North East
It started out cloudy, but a great day on the beach
Today was the 29th castle of my stay. I have 3 more days of castles, til I return home on Saturday. I was SO happy to see Barry and Corey, from the Lewes Public Works this morning, collecting trash from the beach! They do a fantastic job! It was nice meeting Pete, a musician from Baltimore and New Mexico late today.
