I had a nice day off yesterday, because of the rain. I started a watercolor painting, did some baking, wrote a letter to my friend, who just turned 96, and took myself out to an early dinner. It was good to be back on the beach, building today!
When I started building, the tide was up around the castle. The bay was really rough, and a wave knocked me down when I was getting my buckets of water. I held on to one, and a young man came to help me. He carried one bucket, and I managed to grab the second bucket. Fortunately, only my dignity was hurt!Castle #21, looking toward the dunes
