Posted on September 13, 2011A trip to the Rehoboth boardwalk on Sunday, Sept 11 On their last night with us, my Tennessee family went to the boardwalk. Ruby, Aunt Charlotte, Patsy, me, and Jack
Posted on September 13, 2011Monday, Sept 12, 2011 All my company had gone home, and I walked up to the beach, and built this castle (always makes me happy to build something!) my castle that I built after my Tennessee family had to go home
Posted on September 12, 2011Just a small castle on my birthday, September 10 Was only on the beach a short time, but had time for a small castle. My cousin, Ruby, from Tennessee, and my sister, Dawne, behind the castle
Posted on September 7, 2011Sunshine (altho the forecast was 70% chance of rain!) Wed Sept 7, 2011 What a nice surprise, to see the sun, after hearing the forecast this morning. (Although at 4:30am this morning, I saw lots of stars up above!)
Posted on September 6, 2011What a difference a day makes! Tues Sept 6, 2011 the wind is pushing the tide farther – this is the first thing I saw, coming over the dunes today at 4pm After rain last night and today, I walked down to the bay about an hour before high tide. I don't think these castles will be here for long!
Posted on September 6, 2011Labor Day/Monday Sept 5, 2011 – cloudy and uncrowded This family is one of my favorites – nice children, and a very sweet mother, practicing on the side of my castle. Promising rain and cloudy, our beach wasn’t crowded at all.
Posted on September 5, 2011Labor Day weekend – Sunday, Sept 4, 2011 very hard to take a photo without people in it! My good friend, Marie, who couldn’t stop herself from building today The beach wasn’t as crowded, for a holiday weekend, as it has in years past. (thank heavens.) Too late to build their own/ practicing steps on my castleafter Ella Mae left, Dad found he just needed to keep building!
Posted on September 2, 2011Friday, Sept 2 – cloudy and breezy, but a good day on the beach Casey and Morgan came back (first taught them on August 21) and built a spectacular castle. I slowly built another castle today – just taking it easy – hopefully, my back and knee will strengthen) It's really hard to leave the beach - but hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow, to build another.
