On Labor Day weekend, lots of happy people on a beautiful Saturday.
Two great kids who listened well, and built a great castle
Mateo 8, and Emma 5, from Bethesda, MD, and their castle.
Lots of kids came by today, to learn how to make steps, pack and release a mold, carve a village house, and make trees. Elizabeth Mayer brought her daughter Jane 5, who practiced steps on the bottom of my castle. Max 6, and (another) Mateo 6, also practiced steps on my castle. Jenny brought her daughter Evelyn 3 1/2, and friend Eloise and her mother, Emily, also.

Tuesday, August 30, 2022, found yesterday’s castle smashed, with my signs pulled up and left in the ruins.
Monday morning – yesterday’s castle was still standing! Built a new one💗🏰
Beautiful day on the beach today, with a cool breeze onshore.
Barb came early to help me, after reading about Saturday’s castle having been destroyed, but Sunday’s castle was untouched, thankfully!
Shannon, originally from Mobile, Alabama, came down to meet me, and take some photographs, after reading about me in the “I Love Lewes” page.
After the castle stomping, a 7 year old friend, Jazmin, from Potomac, MD helped me scoop up, rewet, and reshape.
