Today I spent a lot of time teaching, helping, and talking (not necessarily in that order! I didn’t start carving my castle until after 3 o’clock! (But better late than never!)

What a creation today! Cake or Castle?
2 Dads and a mom from Rockville, MD – plus 3 kids and their creation –
a tiered decorated cake (or was it a castle?) Great imagination and result! Dad Ricardo, mom, plus Michael 11, worked with Noah 10, and Sienna (6) and their Dad.
Dad Chris, Zach 25, and Zoe 7 1/2, from Herndon, VA
Zoe’s Dad, Chris, and her big brother Zach helped her build a wonderful castle today.
2 brothers, 2 cousins from NJ and TX
Laney & Rachel and their castle
Laney 7, and Rachel 8, are neighbors in Frederica, DE. It’s great to watch friends building castles together. Their castle incorporated buildings, towers, stairs, and village houses.
Finn, River, and Sarah – an International team
Finn, 7, is from Washington DC; River is 6, from Falls Church, VA; and Sarah, turning 10 on September 16 – is from Kildare, Ireland. These three built a great castle together today – and worked wonderfully as a team.
Two brothers, Coen and Case, working together
Coen is the younger brother, aged 5, and Case is 6 – both from Magnolia, DE. They worked together, and built a good castle.
Roxie and Cassie built a castle together today
I love it when the older kids keep building, and help the younger ones. Cassie is 10, from Magnolia, DE, and Roxie is 6, from Frederica, DE.
Ruby, Roxie and Cassie building late in the day
a fun and different castle!
every day that I can walk down to the beach and build is a good day.
