A late in the day castle today for me. But I like to work slowly, no matter what time I get there. Making castles (or sandcastling, as my friend Doug Smith calls it) is so relaxing (once you carry the water, and pull up the sand!) It’s a tactile, artistic effort, and it builds your body, while it soothes your soul <3
a dog castle? yes!
Angelina 8, from North Port, NY teamed up with Adrienne 8, and her brother Riley 6, from Gaithersburg, MD, and made a dog face castle today.
Got to the beach earlier today
My daughter, Michelle and grandson Riley went to the beach a little after 11 today, so I got there about 11:30 today (I haven’t been getting there till after 1 or 2 lately.)
I was able to finish a castle, AND sculpt an alligator, and it felt so good!

Another destruction last night; made a small castle today
Adrienne, Riley, and Bridget, from Gaithersburg, MD
Adrienne is the oldest. at 8, of the 3 children. Riley is next, at 6, and Bridget is 4. They all worked on the castle together. Can you tell they liked making the steps best?
