Building in August & September on the Massachusetts Street beach, in Lewes, Delaware
I looked over at the guy sitting next to me on the beach today, and I swear I heard the Flintstones theme!

Here is the start of the castle, at 12pm, and another at 1:30 (where the too was already crumbling.). I worked till 3, on village houses, and just forgot to take the picture! Tomorrow’s another day, Scarlett.

I care more about my sign than the sandcastles. Two days in a row, the sign has been pulled out. yesterday, it was laying on the beach. Today, it’s gone.
I still have my old sign, thankfully.
Here is today’s castle, barely hanging in there. Makes me think of Nashville – anyone know why?

Miles and Mom make a great team! Lots of details in their castle today!
(Miles is 6, from Arlington, VA)

Minus half of the main tower, and missing a few steps, work went on! The village is holding well.

I little bigger today, but the sun and wind were drying it out a lot.

Miles, 6, from Arlington, VA and his castle

Had to start from scratch, because of the high tides that wiped everything out. I build on the same spot, so it will be a little bigger everyday.

When I went to the beach this afternoon, I took one of my old signs. I was pleased and astounded to see my new sign that was missing saved, and put up next to the dune with my chair and sand toys!
Thanks be to God, and that kind soul!
