It was really nice to have the North East wind blowing onshore today – so cool, and so nice!
I also want to tell you all how nice it is to meet you on the beach, even just to have you say hello, or say something about the day’s castle.
Two families I’ve met are very nice – Dominic (9 years old) and his mom, Lorraine and grandfather. (Dominic has very good manners – and said his grandpa taught him!) A new family today was Joy, mom to 7 year old twins Maddy and MacKenzie, and their 13 year old brother, Parker. Another family who stopped today had Danica and her brother, Rocky. It really is great to meet you all!
This is the North side of the castle, looking up toward the dunes.
Here’s yesterday’s castle, still standing, and today’s in the background, alongside it.
Hi Lyn,
We miss the sandcastles. We had a pretty rough weekend. We still have 6 inches of water on Midland and 6 inches in our basement. Wishing it was still summer and building sandcastles. January 2016 coastal flood was a rough one!
